What is Human Ecology?

Human Ecology is an interdisciplinary study of humans and their built, natural, and social environments. During this time students:

• Work on both short and long-term hands-on projects 

• Integrate history, science, social science, the arts, technology, literature, and writing

• Study real-world topics

• Learn to manage their time, stay organized, and work effectively both in groups and individually

 

This is our Year of the Ancients in the 6/7. Students will be investigating ancient cultures, their philosophy, politics, architecture, inventions and how they used science and math to develop innovative technologies. 

 

As students are introduced to the assignments, we will follow up with more information to be posted on this blog.
